Milan Milenković

Senior Research Associate

Milan Milenković is a Senior Research Associate at the "Jovan Cvijić" Geographical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), within the Department of Physical Geography, where he conducts research in the field of biogeography. His expertise encompasses biogeography and the impact of solar activity on the environment. His research focuses on environmental risks and natural hazards, with particular emphasis on forest fires and forest insect outbreaks. He employs statistical data analysis methods in his work to gain a deeper understanding of environmental risks and the influence of solar activity on natural hazards. He has made significant scientific contributions in the field of biogeography and the study of various natural hazards, primarily forest fires. Research fields: biogeography, impact of solar activity on the environment
