Milan Radovanović

Principal Research Fellow

Milan Radovanović is a scientific advisor at the Jovan Cvijić Institute of Geography, SASA, within the Department of Physical Geography, where he conducts research in the field of climatology. His expertise includes the impact of solar activity on environmental disturbances. His research focuses on the occurrence of forest fires and sudden changes in the atmosphere, with a special emphasis on their genesis. In his work, he applies satellite observation detection methods using neural networks, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the temporal shift in the initial phase of forest fires and disturbances in atmospheric circulation. His most significant scientific contribution is in the field of physical-geographical processes in the troposphere, as well as in studying the impact of these disturbances on tourist movements and events. Research fields: physical geography, climatology, tourism
