Dragana Miljanović

Research Associate

Dragana Miljanović (Ph.D.) is a Research Associate within the Department of Regional Geography at the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijić" of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where she conducts research in the field of geosciences. Her research interests encompass the following areas: environmental protection, spatial planning, and natural disasters. Her most substantial scientific contribution lies in the field of environmental protection, encompassing theoretical and methodological dimensions of the society-nature (human-environment) interactions, a geographical approach in the studying environmental issues and environmental governance, as well as air pollution. Her research also includes the examination of regional inequalities and the spatial patterns of urban transformation, alongside concerns regarding natural disasters.
